Among all the things that one may know, there something common to all...we all need evasion. From a book, a film, video-game, travel whatever, we all need to get out of our daily which can be boring sometimes to others worlds. The world that I like the most and I think that you have already noticed with this blog is the heroic-fantasy. Those universe whatever the support that is used for telling the story have the same things in common :
The quest : one has something to do to save the world, a woman, his mother, father.....
The characters : a man (woman sometimes) from poor conditions, not yet in manhood, dream about adventure, a wise (wizard, older man), a princess, a vilain, friends...
The universe : middle-age like, present time, futur (depending to the plot)
The background : world in war or close to it
Key elements : magic, magic gear/weapon, cloak, battle, ring....
In the story, the hero is going to grow up from the beginning to the end, understanding the reason of his mission, learning things from his friends, giving his life for them.
He has then to fight the vilain that cause suffer and evilness to set the world free.

Hironobu Sakagushi
Let's talk today about video-games with one of my favourite man in the industry, Mr Hironobu Sakagushi. He was born on November 1962 and was the Square Co,Ltd planning head-master.
In 1991, he had a promotion and began the vice president of the company.
But let's back to the beginning, in 1986. Square Co, Ltd was in a crisis and was going to bankrupt when a man had an idea. In Japan a brand new kind of games was coming, the RPG with Dragon Quest from enix which has a big sucess in all the country. Mr Sakagushi then decided to do a game in that kind and called it Final Fantasy as the last hope for the company. The game, released in Japan in 1987, was finally a sucess that saved the company and allowed them to do a second one and a lot more in the future, twelve episode from now on.
Mr Sakagushi worked on many other games Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story and created others famous series like Secret of Mana (Seiken dentsu), Saga Frontier (Romancing Saga), Front Mission, Final Fantasy Tactics, or Kingdom Hearts.
Everything was doing fine for him, most of his games was sucesses and then he wanted to create an animation movie. He used to put what I call cinematic in his games (specially in FF since the seventh) so that did'n't suprised me. He worked for three years on his film called Final Fantasy the spirits within and released it on July 2001. Although he decided to make the film in english, with the voice of famous actor like Alec Baldwin, the movie didn't work in the US neither so much in Japan and Europe.
This failure caused the merge of the company with Enix in April 2003 and Mr Sakagushi due to that was less considered by the new company. He made two games for Squarenix, Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance before going and creating his own company Mistwalker in 2004.
Three games had been made by Mr Sakagushi with Mistwalker :Blue Dragon in 2006, Archaic Sealed Heat in 2007 (only in Japan), Lost Odysee in 2008 and Blue Dragon plus.
Since Mr Sakagushi left Squarenix, it seems like a piece of the Final fantasy spirit has gone with him. The serie is taking a new turn more action/rpg . But I remember what Mr Sakagushi used to say, he said that the main thing when you create a game is to tell stories, so I hope then won't forget that.

Alan lee
Today let me introduce you someone who and I'm sure you will agree, is a dream-maker as well as the autor he illustrated for. Alan Lee is not only an illustrator but also a movie conceptual designer .The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Lavondyss or Merlin Dreams are some of the books among many others that he illustrated.
In the cinema, he worked on the Lord of The Ring as a concept artist and won an Acadamy award for the third episode "The Return of the King".He has also worked on Narnia, King Kong or Eric the Viking.
His works on the Lord of the Rings is available in a book untitled "The Lord of the Rings Sketchbook"

The crazy show
Welcome everybody on Crazy 1. I'm the one, the unic mister crazy man and I'm happy to present you this brand new show THE CRAZY SHOW! For this first time, we have some special guest for your plesure. They will have to answer some questions from who is the father of Radia Datto's baby to Who is the writter of BNL's last book? If they don't know the answer, they will be forfeit with the launch of rotten eggs and others delicious things. My assistant Crazynella will do that bad task even if we all know that it's a real pleasure for her.

Ridgard:We don't really have the time to talk about that now, You'll have to follow me blind. Come on, young Galic, for that is your name.
Galic: How...how do you know my name?
Ridgard : I'm a wizard, it's one of my little trick. Now, let's go to the nothern castle. The lord Mc Flard is a friend of mine. He will hide us till the things goes down.
Galic : But I can't leave my family! What I'm gonna say to them?
Ridgard: Don't worry, they already know the whole truth! I told them a long time ago.
Galic: But...but
Ridgard: No but young man, we have to go quickly or Saldemore's Knight would catch us on the way. By the way, let's take the road to the White Forest, the trees will help us and they won't be able to find us there.
Galic: I don't think I have the choice and I don't really understand

The news
The spacecraft that was stolen 10 days ago have been found back in the garden of Mr Merky Brandybock. According to him, the machine landed itself without anyone inside. The police of nowhereland didn't believe the poor hobbit and send him to jail for the draw of the spacecraft.
No attorney have been given to him yet however some rumour talk about Mr John Cage, the famous attorney from Fish&Cage.
The Stock-Exchange of Nimportequoi city has closed with a high of 10 whereas Cesquiquila's closed only with a high of 2. It's a good news for our industry in what it seems to be the biggest crisis that nowhere land ever known.
The Big Fight who was attending on Friday 23th have been delayed to an unknown date due to the car accident that affected Mr Jacky Choun. He has been hospitalized at the Moron Hospital, the doctor said that fortunatly he has been slightly damaged with a twist of his left ankle. He'll be on his feet soon for the fight that everybody's waiting for.
Professor Bin from the Fake University is giving free economic course for people who would be intersted by subject. He will start his course on Wednesday 21th at the Fake University. More informations on the university's website.

Toc Toc Toc
Someone knocked at the door
Who could it be? wandered the crazy man
Then the unknown said : "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering, suffering leads to Dark Side."
And the crazy man knew at once who it was and said : "come in, master yoda"
Toc Toc Toc...
Another three knock at the door
Yoda said "expecting someone are you?"
"I don't remember" replied the crazy man
The unknown said "There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming"
After a couple of minutes of puzzeling the crazy found out and said "Dear Gandalf The White, Come in"
Toc Toc Toc...
And again someone knocked at the door
"It seems that you're expecting an other guest my dear friend" said Gandalf
"I don't think so or an unexpecting one" replied the crazy man
Toc Toc Toc ...
"Yes,Yes I'm coming"said the crazy man a bit annoyed
But the unknown said nothing

Gollum" I know that my choice is a kind of weird but I like that little creature.
The Crazy man: Hello dear Gollum, You've got a really important role in that story, you're at the beginning through the end, How do you feel about that?
Gollum: We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!
The Crazy man : Interesting....then you're still mad at these hobbits, Why don't you just move on?
Gollum : You're a liar and a thief.
The Crazy man : Beg your pardon?
Smeagol : No!
The Crazy man : Ho yes! I forgot that Gollum is double, hi Smeagol, how is it to share a same body with Gollum?
Gollum: Murderer
Smeagol: Go away!
The Crazy man: Well, I think that what I've just heard answer the question
Gollum: Go away?
Smeagol: I hate you, I hate you
The Crazy man : It seems that neither of them care about me and my questions, may be they don't see me at all, anyway it was a funny experience. I hope for you too.
